Guide to Good Truss Practices - Begins:4/30/2008 6 Dwelling Contractor Qualifier Continuing Education Hours
This course will cover construction and installation of trusses and the pitfalls, tips and tricks of handling trusses on site.
Steven Johnson, President of the Wisconsin Truss Manufacturer’s Association (WTMA)
will present the seminar, sponsored by the WMTA and the Wood Truss Council of America.

NABA Table Top Night - Begins:2/5/2008 Building industry professionals will have a table to display their business attributes, as well as the latest products and services for builders. Builders will be required to attend each table and talk with each business tabletop. Each table top presenter will need to answer the following question, "One thing you may not know about my company is ___________." The purpose of the evening will be to broaden the knowledge of all the products, services, and resources that are available to the builders. Executive Directors from the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity will each speak for 5 minutes a piece. |

NABA Table Top Night - Spooner - Begins:2/21/2008 Building industry professionals will have a table top display of the latest products and services available to builders. Builders will be required to attend all the table tops. Each table top presenter will need to be able to answer the following question, "The one thing you may not know about my company is__________". The purpose of the eventing is to broaden the knowledge of all products, services, and resources that are available to builders. Directly following the class, the Washburn County Zoning Administrator will give a 30 minute presentation on Washburn County Zoning Issues for an additional 1/2 continuing credit to total 1.5 hours continuing ed credit. |

Washburn County Zoning Issues - Begins:2/21/2008 The Washburn County Zoning Administrator will speak for 30 minutes on Washburn County Zoning issues (1/2 hour continuing ed credit). This will directly follow our NABA Table Top Night (for an an additional 1 hour continuing ed credit). |

To pull building permits, a company Certificate of Financial Repsonsibility (Dwelling Contractor) Number AND an individual Dwelling Contractor Qualifier Number.
