Greg Schaffer, American TV and Appliance, Madison, WI

Greg has been with American TV & Appliance for 19 years and a member of the Madison Area Builders Association (MABA) since 1995. He has served on numerous committees and has earned Associate of the Year from both the WBA in 2002 and MABA in 2002. He is currently the Vice President of the Contract Sales Division at American TV & Appliance, a business-to-business division he started in 1995. Under his leadership, it has expanded to 24 account managers who call on five markets including Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. He and his team work with closely with builders to understand their business needs and integrate those needs to create long-term relationships. Greg and his sales division participate in constant training and development in order to be known as the best supplier of appliances, home theater, and furniture for new home construction.

Greg has a BA in Economics and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Greg is very involved in his community through volunteering and he has won many company awards for his fundraising efforts for United Way. In addition, he has spearheaded donations for numerous charitable projects including the Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, ABC’s Extreme Makeover, and the WBA Foundation.

In his free time Greg enjoys mountain biking, curling, remodeling and golfing. His two daughters keep Greg and his wife Janet busy with soccer, piano, horseback riding lessons, cheerleading and gymnastics.
