Associate Vice President

John Anderson, Associated Bank - Appleton, WI

John has been in the financial industry for over 20 years holding management, business and retail lender positions.  He is a member and past associate of the year for both the Winnebago and Valley Home Builders Associations.  John has served in various positions within both of these locals.  With the WBA he has held the following posts; Area Vice President, Associate Council President, Membership Chair and standing committee member for BIC.  John is currently employed as a Lending Officer for Associated Bank working out of Associated Bank’s College Avenue office in Appleton. 

John enjoys working for a community minded organization like Associated Bank and enjoys having local decision making and the flexibility his bank can offer his customers.  Associated Bank’s vision statement says it all – “Associated will be the preferred provider of financial services for businesses and individuals in the communities we serve.”

John graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in Business Administration with concentrations in Industrial Relations and Finance.  John stays busy within his community by volunteering with a number of local organizations.  One organization that stands out is the Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade of Neenah/Menasha where he has volunteered as a counselor for the past 30 years.  John is also very involved in his two children’s activities outside of school that include; soccer, karate, swimming, wrestling and piano.

In John’s free time he enjoys hunting, boating, golfing and most of all spending time with his two kids and his wonderful wife, Janie.  He is thankful his family gives him the extra time needed for this opportunity to serve on the Senior Officers and to continue another of his passions – helping the building industry stay strong and vibrant for years to come.
