Business Day in Madison
Business Day in Madison on February 11, 2009 is Wisconsin’s premiere legislative event, bringing more than 1,000 business leaders together with policymakers to discuss the most important issues facing our state. WBA members and staff from across the state gather in Madison for an update by the WBA Government Affairs staff on current legislative issues affecting the building industry. Attendees then meet directly with legislators to voice their concerns directly to those who make a difference with their vote. In these challenging economic times, it is more important than ever for the business community to help policymakers understand what it will take to strengthen the economy and create jobs in Wisconsin. With that in mind, this year’s program will showcase the business community’s Top 10 policy recommendations for improving the business climate in Wisconsin in order to create better jobs and a brighter future for our families and our communities.
