WI State Board and Commission Open slots 2008

Much of the news today covers the fact that incoming President, President Elect Obama, has thousands appointments to fill for his presidency. What you may not know is that Governor Jim Doyle has the responsibility to appoint Wisconsin folks to over 200 boards, commissions, councils, and taskforces. The time for members of our association to get involved is now!There are openings on many boards and commissions that impact our industry and your communities. Everything from the Dwelling Code Council to the Small Business Regulatory Review Board, the WBA needs to engage and have a voice on these important administrative boards.

As the election cycle comes to a close and the legislative cycle begins, having our members be on the inside, representing our best interest and the interest of affordable housing, will better serve us as we proceed forward with our WBA agenda.
