The strength of the Wisconsin Builders Association is never more evident than when the local associations share the time, talent and resources they have individually developed to grow their membership. | Headwaters | Radio | 25 minute live radio talk show, entitled, "Ask the Experts" or "Ask the Builder". Each month will feature one or two members - both builders and associates, who will discuss relevant topics. Two currently being planned are "preparing your home for winter" and "shopping for the right home loan". At least 5 minutes of each program will be devoted to the benefits of hiring builders association members as qualified, reputable contractors and service providers, as well as the benefits of being a member (for possible recruitment of new members). The program will air on WJJQ radio station in Tomahawk, and will be podcast on our website www.headwatersbuilders.com, to make it available anytime. All members will have the opportunity to present a topic for consideration for the program. Programs will not be "sales pitches" for the member who is doing the show, but will provide valuable general information on topics of current local interest. |

| La Crosse | Play Radio Ad | We created a jingle about 3 years ago. A local radio station offered where if we spend $1,800 on the jingle, they’d give us a $1,800 credit towards advertising. We started adding it on to our Home Show & parade commercials as it’s cheaper to buy a :60 second (:30 for the jingle and :30 for the event commercial) than to buy separate :30s. We have found that also helps us create an “umbrella” brand in that they recognize we do all the events vs. them be separate and run by unknown entities. | ||
