Logo Use Guidelines for Members

Incorporating the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) Member Logo into your letterhead and promotional materials can increase public awareness of your professional affiliation with the WBA.

For Locals
The correct version of the WBA Logo for Locals is above left. Locals who incorporate a WBA Logo into any electronic or printed piece must use the WBA logo with the registered trademark ®.

For Members
The correct version of the WBA Logo for Members is above right. WBA’s Member logo adds the identifier “Member” to the basic WBA logo. Members who choose to use the WBA Member Logo must abide by the usage guidelines below.

The Member Logo is for WBA members in good standing who comply with the usage guidelines described below. Members in good standing are those who have paid or renewed their annual dues and who comply with the WBA Code of Ethics and standards of professional conduct.

Members who incorporate a WBA Logo into any electronic or printed piece must use the logo with the identifying “Member” text and the registered trademark ®.

Organizations, individuals or other entities that are not members of WBA may not use the Member Logo. If external groups enter into a co-sponsorship agreement with WBA, those entities may be granted limited-use rights or a “license” to use the Member Logo for a specified period of time, provided the logo usage guidelines are followed.  All licensing agreements will be considered and approved by the WBA Director of Communications (608) 242-5155 ext. 19.

Guidelines
1.    Do not alter the Member Logo in any way including:
a.    Separating the text from the graphic
b.    Adding a company name
c.    Using part of the logo as a separate graphic element
d.    Incorporating any part of the WBA Member Logo into another logo
e.    Printing the logo over other patterns, such as background lines, geometric patterns or other distracting elements.
f.    The WBA Logo should never be tilted.
g.    The Member Logo should never be reproduced smaller than 1 inch without permission. Whenever possible, the Logo should be placed against a white background.

h. It must include the registered trademark ® on the lower right corner.

1.    The font is Arial Narrow Bold if you wish to match or complement the typeface in your overall design.
