Executive Director: Brad Boycks

Brad manages all of WBA's public policy efforts and manages the association. Some of his responsibilities include managing all aspects of legislative lobbying, regulatory lobbying, grassroots lobbying, strategic litigation, and working as the liaison between the Executive Committee and other members of the WBA staff. He regularly communicates with WBA leaders and members to understand the needs of the industry and to provide members with the valuable tools and opportunities created by WBA's advocacy initiatives.
He is also responsible for helping the association establish legislative priorities, working with legislators and regulators to get those priorities addressed, and interpreting new or proposed laws.
Brad also manages the WBA's involvement in elections to maximize the association's influence at the state level. In addition to his role as Executive Director for the WBA, Brad serves on the Executive Committee of the Wisconsin Civil Justice Council (WCJC) and is a past president of the Association of Wisconsin Lobbyists (AWL).
Director of Communications: Samantha Long

Samantha serves as the WBA and WB Foundation's primary coordinator for all forms of organizational marketing, communications (web and print), graphic design, public relations, and member services. From inception to implementation, Samantha ensures that the message of the WBA is heard and that members' needs are always met.
Director of Operations: Joan Olson

Joan is responsible for the financial and administrative management of the WBA as well as providing resources for the 21 local organizations. Having worked in the home building industry for many years, Joan has the knowledge and experience to effectively manage the overall operations of the WBA.
WBA Outside Legal Counsel: Robert Procter
Robert Procter is a partner at Axley Brynelson, LLP, practicing dealer/franchise law and real estate/construction law. He is a leader of the firm’s Construction & Transportation Practice Group, representing developers and builders relating to all aspects of development including real estate acquisitions, annexations, land divisions, zoning disputes, condominiums, and tax-deferred exchanges.
Mr. Procter acts as outside general counsel for the Wisconsin Builders Association, is a registered state lobbyist focusing on construction and real estate legislation, and is also an active member of Axley’s Distribution & Franchise Law Team. He counsels manufacturers and distributors relating to dealership and franchise issues including distribution agreements and networks, dealer terminations, product recalls, regulatory compliance, and litigation.
