November EO Update

Survey Says More EO Meetings, Annual EO Summit

Thanks to all the Executive Officers who completed the survey! The results indicate an overwhelming interest in WBA hosting EO meetings, with a split decision on how many meeting that would be!  Three additional meetings, besides the two in-person Member Meeting Day, for a total of five per year was the general consensus. 

The format most desired was a collaborative discussion with a moderator and with topics provided by executive officers., with Tuesday in the late morning being the best time to hold these meetings.

The NAHB Leadership Training Seminar was also well-received as a bi-annual event, and the Executive Officers Summit won as a yearly event by a 12-6 vote! 

What are the next steps? We are now looking at possible dates.  Start thinking about topics and email your ideas to Joan at jolson@wisbuild.org

WBA Awards

The WBA is seeking nominations for the 2018-19 awards in the categories of Builder of the Year, Associate of the Year, Hall of Fame and Rising Star.  Local association executive officers and members are encouraged to fill out the nomination form(s) available in EO Resources. This is an easy way to recognize some of your outstanding members.  The awards will be presented during the President’s Installation dinner on February 8, 2019 at The Orpheum in Madison.  Nominations are due no later than December 15, 2018.
