EO Orientation

NAHB is providing a great opportunity for EOs to learn how to effectively lead their HBAs and assist their members. The orientation provides EOs with the opportunity to become familiar with NAHB’s programs, products and services. All full-time, part-time, and volunteer EOs are encouraged to attend, which a travel stipend of up to $1,255 available to all registered attendees. Register before the September 6 deadline. Orientation takes place October 7-8 in Washington D.C.

Free Continuing Education Credits

The WB Foundation now offers online continuing education credits for holders of Wisconsin's Dwelling Contractor credentials through its partnership with Slipstream and the B4 Conference.

These courses are designed to fulfill Wisconsin's continuing education requirements for dwelling contractors (12 credit hours every two years), and are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS).

Members have access to the free courses via a discount code on our members only page. Please direct members to our site to receive the code. Please do not post the code on your own sites.

Town Hall Meetings

We’ve had two great town hall meetings and are looking forward to the remaining two. If you are an EO for one of the associations below, please ensure you’re including the meeting in your communications to try to drive attendance, and share our facebook posts when we tag you in them. Oshkosh only has two participants at this time, one being an EO. Waukesha has 23 which is great, but the more the better! Please contact us if you have any questions.

It’s never too early to begin thinking of your WBA Board of Directors nominations for the coming year! Consider nominating your incoming local presidents as well, if you are not already planning on doing so!
