Executive Officer Summit

After receiving feedback regarding the EO Summit that was previously scheduled for September 17, we are now moving forward with the EO Summit in two parts. The first will be virtual with Dean on November 17; agenda to be determined. The second part will be in-person in conjunction with the Presidents Installation and will be focused on membership and relationship building. We are also still working on figuring out what that will look like, but stay tuned for more information!

Upcoming Member/BOD Meeting October 1

The last Member/BOD Meeting will take place next Thursday, October 1. While this meeting was previously scheduled to be in-person, it will not take place virtually. To better track attendance and for better ease of participation, we are discouraging the use of calling in, and would like people to utilize the video feature if at all possible. Just a reminder, the Board of Directors will be voting on the 3-year dues increase plan that is set to begin in 2021. President’s Installation Tickets & Sponsorships

Abe Degnan (MABA) along with the rest of the 2021 Executive Committee is set to be installed January 22, 2021 at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Governor Evers Extends Statewide Mask Mandate

On September 22, Governor Tony Evers extended the statewide mask mandate in Wisconsin effective immediately for an additional 60 days, or until November 21, 2020 unless replaced by a subsequent superseding emergency order. Advocacy Update

The September Advocacy Update is now available on the EO Resources Page. It features the following: mask mandate update, updated giving pages, UDC Council changes, and EPA Rule.

New Affinity Partner

The Tax Advisory Network CEO, Holly Hoffman, is a former WI Dept of Revenue auditor and a contractor sales tax expert. Small Business Growth Partner Offering

Tomorrow, members will be receiving a letter regarding the SBGP member benefit that they receive for free. You will be included on that email so please keep an eye out. The third issue of the Badger Builder has been released. The cover features WABA member Larry Meyer Construction, and member spotlight includes pieces from Jim Doering (MBA) and Jody Swenson (LABA).
